Other Studies

At Hydrafact our capabilities are not limited to the usual flow assurance suspects (gas hydrates, wax, salt...); we have undertaken a wide variety of different studies for clients either, some closely related flow assurance and others on completely different industrial processes, including:

• Identification of unknown substances (e.g. pipeline/processing facility deposits/debris)
• Solids removal from pipelines, effectiveness of cleaning chemicals, brush pig simulation
• Testing of anti-depositional pipeline coatings
• Gas solubility in liquid foodstuffs
• CO2 hydrate formation during vegetative matter treatment

The variety and versatility of our equipment, combined with access to our own skilled technicians and machine shop, give us the ability to tackle a wide range of laboratory studies and adapt set-ups quickly to meet the needs of our clients.
