Hydrafact is working with Polytec on a major CO₂ transportation project in collaboration with several other Norwegian partners and oil and gas companies.

The main objective of the project is to investigate the risks associated with water condensation and/or hydrate formation in CO₂-rich systems. Hydrafact has developed extensive capabilities with respect to phase behaviour and properties of CO₂-rich systems which are being utilised in this project.

Hydrafact has been awarded a contract to provide technical hydrate support and consultancy services for Saudi Aramco's Karan Gas Field Development, the company's first offshore non-associated gas production field.

Hydrafact will assist as an independent consultant helping ensure the success of the hydrate inhibition management program for the development.

Hydrafact has formed a partnership with TOP Industrie to combine our experimental experience with gas hydrates and their expertise in high pressure equipment to design and manufacture high pressure kinetic, visual and rocking autoclaves for gas hydrate testing.

TOP Industrie has specialised in manufacturing high pressure equipment for over 30 years and their equipment represents the highest in quality, reliability and safety available anywhere. Hydrafact will also be involved in the support and training in the use of the equipment and provide guidelines for achieving the best experimental results. All set-ups can be highly customised and tailored to a clients application such as the materials used or the pressure / volume requirements.
